Interchange

If the city is like a brain,
then the interchange is a heart
that never stops beating.

If the interchange is a heart,
the highways are concrete veins, channelling their metallic flow.

Don’t slow down, don’t stop.
A traffic jam is a clot
that blocks all motion.

The greedy city gulps cars in,
Each one a breath of oxygen.
